The inaugural helicopter passenger flight and route launch ceremony for Maoming's agricultural, cultural, and tourism project recently took place beside the Open-pit Mine Museum in Maoming, in western Guangdong province. During the event, organizers unveiled several exclusive tour routes, with ticket prices starting as low as 198RMB.

The helicopter passenger project combines "low-altitude flight" with cultural exploration. The launch of these new routes represents a significant milestone in Maoming's efforts to cultivate new productive forces. The initiative not only enhances Maoming's tourism experience but also adds a modern, high-tech touch to traditional scenic areas, offering a fresh "aerial perspective."

The low-altitude helicopter sightseeing project at the Open-pit Mine offers four unique routes: Mini Flight, Enjoyable Flight, Adventure Tour, and Lake-circling Tour, according to Li Yanzhong, Deputy Manager of the Investment and Development Department of Maoming Agricultural, Cultural and Tourism Group Co., Ltd.
These routes explore key areas of the ecological park, the urban landscape belt, and surrounding cultural and historical landmarks, with flight distances ranging from three to 20 kilometers.
Ticket prices are thoughtfully set based on market demand, with the basic sightseeing route priced at 297 RMB per person.
In addition, a 40-kilometer "Litchi Exploration Tour" has also been introduced, covering the Open-pit Mine Ecological Park, China Litchi Expo Hall, Litchi Theme Park, Sweetheart Hotel, Ancient Litchi Tribute Orchard, Baiqiao Litchi Square, and Baiqiao Service Area.

To ensure the safety of all tourists, the project team has secured specialized insurance for each passenger and has partnered with the emergency management department to establish a rapid response system, creating a robust safety network for comprehensive protection.

The successful launch of this inaugural flight ceremony not only provides Maoming residents with a new leisure experience but also marks a significant milestone in the city's cultural and tourism integration from an "aerial perspective". With the ongoing development of low-altitude infrastructure, Maoming is poised to accelerate its shift from a "two-dimensional economy" to a "three-dimensional economy", setting a "Maoming model" for neighboring cities to explore the high-quality development of the low-altitude industry.
