The former site of Caobian School is located beside the office building of the Caobian Cooperative Economic Union in Beitai Community, Nanqu Sub-district, Zhongshan City. Established in the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), it was funded and built with donations led by overseas Chinese, including Liang Guanzhao. The school building, with a floor area of approximately 631㎡, is laid out in the shape of a "回" character and consists of two stories, constructed with brick and concrete. Both floors feature a front veranda, each supported by four square eaves columns and six round eaves columns. On the upper level, near the center of the parapet wall, there is a clock tower, and the parapet is decorated with the name "Caobian School" in sculpted characters, flanked by spiral-like decorations. This building is a significant example of a large-scale local school with a distinct Southeast Asia architectural style and serves as an important testament to the region's educational history.
